It began with quiet evenings when I chose to cook myself a proper meal after long workdays. With the realization that when I spend 20–30 minutes preparing food — slicing vegetables, stirring a warm pan — my thoughts begin to slow down too.

That’s when I understood:

Cooking isn’t just about filling your stomach. It’s a way of reminding yourself that you matter.

Why I Built US Home Cook

Because I believe everyone deserves a meal that makes them feel cared for — even if it’s just for one person, in a small apartment kitchen.

The morning sets the tone for everything that follows.
